Belize and Mexico Study Abroad

ProWorld's multi-country summer semester abroad provides a unique blend of service projects, field research, academic courses, homestay living, and cultural activities. You will participate in community-driven, hands-on development projects like supporting a Zapotec women's weaving cooperative to working on Environmental Protection with a Belizian national park.

You will study with local professors to better understand the history and diversity of both San Ignacio, Belize and Oaxaca, Mexico, then explore that diversity by making excursions to ancient ruins, national parks, and rural villages in and around these locales. You will immerse yourself in the cultures by living with caring and carefully selected local families.
