Education Assistance in Ghana
Cape Coast, set amongst beautiful beaches and home to Cape Coast Castle, previously one of the largest slave holding sites in the world, is a town steeped in history and contradictions.  While access to basic education, particularly for girls, has increased in recent years, access to secondary education remains limited in many rural areas.  Schools remain vastly underfunded and the quality of education continues to suffer.  Spend two weeks with ProGhana and our partner organizations to help improve access and quality of education in the areas which need it most.  Project work may include classroom assistance, curriculum development, helping with after school programs, or improving school infrastructure. You will also have the opportunity toe xplore Cape Coast's pristine beaches, castles and colorful markets.
